Designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, Martin Szekely and Sonia Rykiel, MK2 Bibliothèque is more than just a cinema : it is a vibrant cultural hub which hosts your custom-made events.
Auditoriums : 16 auditoriums from 85 to 584 seats. MK2 is beloved due to the comfort of its « love seats » and well-considered due to the quality of its showings (soundproof auditoriums, digital showing, 3D, screen sizes from 23 to 66 feet, sound 5.1 and 7.1).
The place can host several types of professional events : private showings (previews or currently broadcasted movies), meetings, general assemblies, prizegivings, ceremonies… All of the spaces are multi-purpose, can be customized and are easy to get to, making MK2 Bibliothèque a welcoming and original place.
Thesquare : a 20 000 square feet esplanade, which looks out over the Seine and theNational Library, hosts numerous short-lived events.
Limelight : located in the front of MK2 Bibliothèque, the Limelight is a lounge bar with a ceiling height of 43 feet. Depending on the weather, a private terrace is available.
Since the opening, more than 600 events have taken place at the MK2 Bibliothèque, supervised by a dedicated team.
MK2 Quai de Seine / MK2 Quai de Loire
This complex of twelve auditoriums, located on the bank of the bassin de la Villette, the biggest artificial lake in Paris. Its charm and conviviality will instantly appeal to you.
From one bank to the other, the boat “Zéro de conduite” allows people to pleasantly go back and forth between the two movie theaters MK2 Quai de Seine and MK2 Quai de Loire.
Auditoriums : 12 auditoriums from 70 to 354 seats
Restaurants : 3 eating places with terrace can be privatized to host cocktails, professional lunches or dinners.
MK2 can also host your events in seven other Parisian venues.”
Le germain Paradisio
The Paradisio is the first private screening room. It can accommodate up to 24 people. Originality is the key word at the Paradisio. Tucked away in the basement of Thierry Costes’ Café Germain and designed by India Mahdavi, the Germain Paradisio offers solutions for private screenings of films currently showing in theatres as well as classic films, premieres, entertainment programs, sports events and so on. Not to mention optional 3D screenings.

Le Silencio by david lynch
Unveiled in 2011, the Silencio is a brand new hybrid place in Paris, halfway between a British-like private club and a chic hotel pub. Entirely conceived and designed by David Lynch, this 7500 square feet spot is dedicated to trendy and international customers. Only accessible to members, the Silencio offers a luxurious movie theatre and food service. MK2 is in charge of the movie theatre line-up and delivers exclusively, every week, a new movie screened twice a day.
