Another idea of the cinema

MK2 is one of the main actors on the Parisian art-house cinema scene, with its programming based on the category and type of its theatres and their various neighbourhood locations.

Mainstream and family films find their natural arena in the multiplexes, mk2 Bibliothèque or mk2 Quai de Loire, while the historic network of mk2 cinemas presents an exclusive program of art-house and experimental films targeting the key movie-going districts.

Accordingly, mk2’s program has the distinction of presenting the broadest possible choice to viewers, while favouring the original languages of the films.
In addition to the French and international films released every week, the mk2 group also features a program of
classic films, films suitable for young audiences and lively seminars (with debates, signings, discussions and so on).
